Yeah, I thought that Howard would have made a more convincing Rhodes and I also wonder why they switched actors.

I think Don Cheadle (Iron Man 2) was better than Terrence Howard (Iron Man 1) though.
You are completely right! One of the things that annoy me the most, is when a character suddenly gets played by an other actor. It annoyed me through the whole movie.
I think Scarlet Johansson's role was really overexaggerated.
Still haven't seen Iron Man 2 as I'm dissapointed Terrence Howard isn't playing Rhodes, I love Iron Man 1 though, seeing how he became Iron Man and growing to love the characters. Can't think of anyone better for the part than Mr Robert Downy Jr.
I liked No.1 better for some reason, I can't explain it, maybe I expected too much from no.2.
