In internet explorer there is a comparability view there is a search box problem

Hi, Detective RooTz.

Thank-you for pointing this out, I guess. I don't know how easy it will be to fix, but why must you see the need to implement comparability view?

Thanks,

Couldn't agree more. IE is atrocious.
Sadly, I am using IE, and I don't have this problem.
I have a similar thing happening to me...
I'm currently on my apple mac which has an old version of Firefox installed & I am having the same problem. Yet on my laptop, I don't have this problem with Firefox because i use the latest version.

Maybe it's the same for IE?
If you're not using the latest version I recommend upgrading.

Although If I'm totally honest, IE is absolutely crap so I would personally recommend Firefox, Chrome or Opera.
I've reported it before. Omni hasn't fixed it. I guess it isn't that big of a deal.
What version of IE? Also what's your resolution?

If you are using an outdated browser, what do you expect?
