I think that the support threads spark discussion. Also the discussion in the off-topic lounges don't raise post count so don't really count for anything. Also what is a forum without discussion?

Well, since 80% are in the support-related forums, that means they were placed their by the user or moved their by a staff member, they must be support-related in some way, shape, or form.
So... I'd say 99.9% of approximately 49,933 posts are support-related.

Discussions help people. A person doesn't need to directly ask for help in order to receive it.
