just hit start and search defrag
All these things take at least an hour to complete and in the end your PC might be as slow as it was. The speed-up they offer is insignificant.

No, not all of them do. In fact, most don't. CCleaner takes like 5 minutes..
The speed-up that they offer is great, imo. If you use programs GlaryUtilities, you'll notice a tremendous boost in speed.

agree,but for most of them you need to pay good money.
I run CCleaner and it have deleted more than 700 MB, thanks !
