Well the truth is, college will help you in the future. Unfortunately for you, parents have a habit of trying to make their kids successful. I don't think there is much you can do to change their view.

i DONT WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE.
i WILL learn to program.
Look at it this way, dad, (or mom whatever)
Whether you like it or not, i like programming (ect)

Ask yourself this before you decide can you program or code in anything, but do you have the brain to do it? What are you going to be programming in, is that language gonna be useful in the industry what are you gonna be making? These are the qustions I'd ask myself first.
