My DVDRW is nuts.
It opens only DVDs from Sony....
No other DVD, and also writing function is not working. Some I/O error.
Pls help.

Hello there Dr.Viper Smile

goto your control panel then you go on "administrative tools" then Device management.

Then you find your DVD drive then right click it and uninstal. After that you restart your computer and hopefully your DVD drive should work.

If it don't work it may be hardware damage.
