Many people on HF are there for the hacking aspect. SF forbids both hacking and piracy. Therefore, many members don't find it appealing. However, in retrospect, many members find it interesting for its clean atmosphere.

Well I haven't learned anything so far from SupportForums, but it has so many more useful threads than HackForums.

I think it's very possible. SF is picking up very nicely. Also, SF has a lot to offer that HF doesn't. HF doesn't have forums for emotional support, or automotive support, or homework help, or health, and so on.

Yeah i agree with Foresight! And this forum is growing up quickly!

most kids go looking on the internet to learn hacking!

This site is great. It's has peace, calm relexation in it.

This is Support Forums, the main idea is to provide your own support and knowledge with other members or request it. We don't stack tutorials, everyone tries to help with everything. We aren't and don't think will be ever established as an online learning resource. Our support is dealt out through mature discussions and debates, everyone chipping in there own views.

SF is a place of maturity and solidarity. We all support another and listen to expressed views and opinions & most importantly we respect them. That's what makes SF and that's why I think we will eventually be bigger.

We are growing faster than Hack Forums did. So let's just wait and see.

Well SF will never be exactly the same way as HF, I think it could one day be as biog as HF is now but SF will eventually stop whereas HF will always have incoming traffic because of brand new noobs who want to be l33t h4x0rs because they have seen a hacking film. Omniscient does do his best to discourage these from asking the same old stupid questions but there is only so much he can do. Some stick around and learn and some give up and go away. On the bright side for SF people always need support, it's the way we are built. One day SF will be big but eventually it will hugely slow down (after it's big speed up) this is the way I see it.


I think that if Omni offered more support options this speed up would happen sooner.
