It's just like Apple, you're paying for the name and looks. Alienware's are damn sexy though, I'd just buy the case however.

I know what company they are part of ;) I was just being general to state my point. Same computer from the same major company for double the price. Makes sense though to get one right? lol

You can only get OS X on a non-Apple computer by having special hardware, and by breaking Apple's EULA. There're many tools used by professionals that are only available on OS X, such as Final Cut Pro.

I think he was talking about people getting Apple computers just because of the name.
There to expensive. Your basically paying for there case and the name.
They cost way to much. Enough said.
Agreed with you huge waste of money for there desktop computers, people should stop thinking there so great.
I think they're a good deal. They have a 700$ laptop that has the same power as my friends $2000 gaming PC.
I would never get an alienware computer, it's too expensive. The only reason I would buy it, though, would be for the case.
They are over priced Idd, when I first saw them I was like woah this is ownage then I learnt more about computers and realised how over priced they are. Just build your own PC with Alien caseRoflmao
i think alienware based their pricing on the physical appearance.
They look cool but they don't work that great.
1 word Overpriced.
