Note this only works for newer models (2nd gen and 3rd gen)

Step 1: Visit http://itshidden.com/ and create a free account

Step 2: Go to the support and how to page and chose Vista: http://itshidden.com/index.php?option=co...&Itemid=41

Step 3: On your ipod or iphone go the the settings app.

Step 4: Choose General settings then Network (VPN)

Step 5: Click add a VPN.

Step 6: Choose PPTP and enter the information as shown on the support page on itshidden.com. Leave the proxy option blank.

Step 7: Go back to the main settings app page and turn the VPN option on.

Step 8: Check your new ip on whatsmyip.org or any free website.
I thought that it was pretty self-explanatory how you did it on an iPod, except toe PPTP part.
So still thanks for that.
