Well, Bay is remaking it and so far it looks good judging by the trailer. Here is the trailer:

I am not a Michael Bay fan. He tends to really over dramatize the action. While Transformers comes off pretty well I gotta say stuff like Bad Boys and Armageddon were fairly stupid.
I just peeked and he doesn't appear to be directing this. The trailer didn't impress me though.

Yeah somebody else is directing but Michael Bay is producing it. I was actually quite impressed. I'm gonna have a hard time getting someone to go see it with me though.
