Must be. Because lift kits don't really have a point, and they waste gas like there's no tomorrow. A small lift on a truck can look nice, but those are just excessive.

My Diesel on economy mode gets about 20MPG city, when i'm being nice to it.

They look ridiculously too high off the ground, imo. If I saw someone actually driving that, I'd probably think, "Wow, he's cool. /sarcasm". But maybe I just don't look at trucks the way you do :p
I see those all the time here in Houston. I always wondered what the purpose was.
