Truth be known. Directly after he left to go back to mum 7 years ago he sent me a message in the mail saying he loves me but does not like me as a dad or something to that effect.
Now when the mum picked him up on that visit we got in a huge argument about religion and this was what the motivation for the letter was.
I actually suspect and have always suspected the bloke in her life at the time to be responsible for getting him to write this letter.
Next time i see him i will ask him about that. I used to carry the letter everywhere with me for about 5 years until the wife washed it with my wallet and destroyed it or i would have given it back to him when i saw him.
