You shouldn't need to run everything in low settings; like Guerreiro said:

It should work fine. Just test it in high everything.
I always had problems with micro-lag. Annoys the crap out of me. The tinniest drop of FPS would annoy me so much. Now I just play games on my Xbox.
At low maybe you will be able try it.
