I dont play it anymore ethier. Im hoping ill like the PS3 i only want it cuz that what my friends have so we can play together and crap.

PS3 Games are easy as all hell to hack. All you need to do is put the right files on a USB then transfer it over! I don't even have a PS3 and I have done it at leas 5 times.

And because you don't pay for the online-ness, its not administered by Sony (to my understanding), and if a game gets hacked then it is up to the company who produced it to patch it. Where as Xbox Live is a paid subscription and they make a big deal out of it. They can also give the company a heads up (so they don't have to notice it first) with all the complaints they receive through the xbox live system, as well as banning the players complaints have been made against.
What if the company that made the game of the century stopped paying attention to the game? Then they wouldn't bother patching it. I'm sure microsoft would kick up a stink if a hack was discovered, as well as being able to ban players.
but then again I have no idea how the PS3 Network runs. So I'm kinda half expecting to be proven wrong.
Not that my opinion matters but, I say you should. Even without Linux (As a Linux user myself it doesn't matter) the console is solid and has free online. It really is a good console. The only problem is we are coming up to our next generation of them. So you might be late in the game.

Yes the ps3 is the bomb so what if the play station network is not as popular as the xbox live! At least you don't have to pay for it, your ps3 never over heats, the controllers battery never dies! I played 6 hours straight one day and when i went to check the battery on the controller the battery was still full! Oh and people are saying that people are getting there xbox lives account getting deleted!
