Is there a list of processes that you need to be running for Win XP? Because I think I may have too many processes running on my computer that is slowing it down. Can anyone help?

Post a list of your currently runing processes to see what processes have you run and which are not nedded.

That will probably help you, but it's the best to do the steps after fresh install!

I looked over it and realized that the only slow thing about my computer is the start up. I think I can fix that so thanks.
