My parents randomly bought me a pair about a week ago, and it seems like I haven't stopped wearing them. I dunno why; I just love them. They're so warm and fuzzy :b
House shoes? Obviously not an Australian thing....

They differ in appearance, but usually they look something like this:

Womens' tend to be more slipper-like. Children's generally are in the shape of something, such as Bugs Bunny.
I do in the winter, i have a pair of under armour ones.
Really depends. Here in my house in Germany during the winter the floors get really cold. I have a hardwood floor with tile in certain rooms. Unless it's right by one of the heaters than it's freezing. And socks are just slippery.
No I don't. I can see myself wearing them if somebody got me a pair though. I got a robe a couple of weeks back and I wear it all the time now.
I do because I live in a basement..... Canadian basement floors are cold in da winterz.
We call them slippers over here in the United Kingdom. I don't currently own a pair but I have worn them in the past.
