In the winter imho they are a must have.
I walk around bare footed, I know it's the cold winter but I like to give my feet air.

If it's not winter time I will go outside barefooted as well as the house. But, here it gets quite chilly outside in the winter and I personally don't feel like walking in the snow barefoot. Can't wait to get home.
negative for me. I stay in and out to much.
I don't wear 'house shoes' because my house is always warm
(in the winter)
I find they make your feet to hot and sweaty.
