Greetings SF.

I have a little community called discuss forums(discussforums.net)

It's about general discussions,and chilling and everything(like playing games,contests and these kind of stuff).

So my question is:
How can I boost some traffic?I have tried many things but I'd like to know what you do to get some traffic(and members of course).

I know that number 1 thing is the organization and quality. Without those you cannot achieve.

So any suggestions on what I could do are appreciated.

Thank you all Blackhat.
For basics, I say submit to search engines and directories and get some heavy back links. Then get some good, unique content in a good niche and start to own a search phrase in Google. Good luck!

Note: I currently get 30+ users per day registered on my forum (I don't use the method above, I have better Tongue) on autopilot but to find a method like mine, you have to either buy it from someone or brainstorm like crazy. Think outside the box. PM if you want to discuss.
Advertisements if you're willing to spend money. Or use your friends, lol.
Notorious, you have a botnet right? DDOS your own forum. It will raise traffic, thus placing it higher on google.
Forums take time. Until the site really takes off on it's own momentum you'll have to continue to promote it. Use Google Analytics and spend every day looking over stats. It might help you find what works for you.

I plan to eventually make a comprehensive Ebook on forums. Maybe in 2011.

Well I'm facing the same prob too.
Hello;

It's actually quite simple, though you have to be dedicated to your forum. Reviewing each day, and promoting it as much as possible. Sitting at your forum and waiting will help in no way. You must go out and try to attain members.
