I have 2 computers both using the same internet but they both have different subnet masks so they can't do file sharing with each other with windows network thing. Is there any other ways to share the files like a server/client thing or something. Preferably something that doesn't require someone at both computers. I would like to just be able to drag and drop the file just like I would in the windows network.
Try out Remote Connection,

Here is a nice how to

Yeah VNC, or Open SSH etc etc.
I've tried remote connection but I always get an error saying the computer can't connect to the remote computer and I don't know what vnc or open ssh is
OK I got remote connection to work but it only works from computer A to computer B but I need to be on computer B but when I try to connect to computer A from computer B it doesn't work. I have no firewalls on and they are both set to allow remote connections so I can't figure out the problem. Computer B is on Windows XP Pro and computer A is on Windows Vista home... Could that be the problem?
ok I figured out the problem still cant fix it though. The vista computer for some reason isn't opening the port for the remote connection I don't know why, there is no firewall enabled so I dont know whats wrong with it. I've tried changing the port but still it wont open it. Any ideas?

Amazing program, don't even need to be on the same network.

...One of the many reasons Vista is so hated.
