Full Version: Can I bump my own threads?

I was curios if i could do that.
I don't think it is reccomended, I don't think you can get banned from it, but I wouldn't do it.
Bumping threads is, I think, allowed, I did it once only.
But don't bump a thread on the same day, wait at least 30 hours to bump. (24 hours is ok too)

Mind you don't get -Reps for bumping your own thread tho, you know what some people are like here.

Well when bumping you should -
1. Not Bump if your thread is already in the first page.
2. Not Bump if it is over 1 week old ( Could be called a gravedigger ) or if it is being left to die.
3. Not bump more than 24 hours in a row.

Hmm well that would i be all i would expect.
You won't get a -rep from most people if you're bumping a topic that has fallen off the first page, you have waited at least 24 hours, and you don't bump a thread that's ages old. Fail Ninja's guidelines are basically what I would follow. Also, don't bump more than once, maybe twice if it's a good thread.
