Pointing to the nameservers would be best i think

The domains are being registered by 1&1, I highly doubt your friend is the owner of that site. How do you really get them?

Also, my domain has been registered, can you change the NS's please?

Yes they are he don't own it, He work for them in the Netherlands.
It's activated but still under request.
