For those who don't know, I'm starting to grow my own Tobacco plants. I bought 1000 seeds and I received them on the 17th March 2012 and planted them the same day. I'm looking forward to them germinating and I can't wait to start taking care of them and watch them grow! This thread is so you guys, and myself can view the progress of my plants and seeing how they go.

I will post progress every-time there's a noticable difference. For the purpose of keeping the topic alive, you can use this thread for the discussion of tobacco products and tobacco itself, pretty much anything to do with tobacco.

Hope it grows well! I just hate tobacco so much, so I probably won't look. But hope you take care of them!

You've planted all 1000 lol?
I went out and bought some gardening equipment today. Should have my seeds by the end of next week.
I'm not using 1 big tray like you though. I've got a ton of those small plastic pots.

Yeah the idea originally wasn't to use them all lol, but I've got the pateince of a lion looking at fresh meat. I'm putting them into one big tray until they germinate, and then re-pot them as they get bigger.

All one thousand are in that tiny container? O.o! Well good luck!

The container is about half a meter wide and a foot height.

Hope that tobacco grows well. Why are you planting for personal use or for selling to other people?

If you mean all 1000 then no, if I actually get that many I'll probably end up giving away the one's I can't sell. I'm only keeping 20-30 for personal use.
