My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate.
I recently had some malware that altered several registry settings.

I can not find the settings that hide my desktop items, startup items and every file in my c drive.


How do I restore the default microsoft registry settings?

You have backups of your registry or what?

If you do not have any backup registry files, try and do a factory reset on your computer or reformat.

I think the best for you is to install Windows XP , I really hate win 7
