Hey guys. So my sister came to me with a poem she wrote and I thought it was really good. I thought it would be cool to share it with you guys and check out some opinions. I'll probably share them with my sister and inspire her to write some more.
She's 9 years old.
Winter Girl
In the winter morning
Where the snowflakes fell
There was ice everywhere as well
There was nothing much
But winter air
And the children played without a care
A girl stood and stared
At snowflakes which fell to the ground
Not making a single sound
She wore a plain top
As she skipped and hopped
She wore black jeans
As she leaned and leaned
But didn't fall
As she held on to her dear doll
Now I'll tell you her name
But her mother came
And shouted "Mary, come in!"
Like brother, like sister eh?
She's 9 years old.
