Basically I got no sleep last night and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get to sleep when your not tired.

I'm a really bad sleeper, it takes me ages to get to sleep and then when I get to sleep I cant wake up, and if I do wake up I just end up turning off my alarm.

Ive been talking to a few people and they have recommended a 'Power Nap' or a 'Caffeine Nap' consisting of consuming caffeine directly before trying to sleep. The caffeine will (or should) kick in just before I enter a deep sleep. The problem with that is that ive never tried it before and I dont think I will get to sleep before the caffeine will kick in, leaving me loopy for hours and then suddenly drop off when in the middle of a lecture tomorrow.

I think im just going to try get to sleep now, set an alarm for 8am and see what happens.
I have the white noise app on my ipod. That helps me fall asleep.
I think id be more comfortable with just soothing music in the background.
Id get annoyed at the white noise after a while xD
lol, I would be the worst for this kind of advice, so maybe i'll just keep tabs on this thread to see what others come up with. Smile
Run a few laps during the day around a park or something.
Decided to do an all nighter after spending about an hour looking at my celling, currently at 19 hours awake.
Its only noon here too, got alot of the day to go.
All you can really do is try to tire yourself by the end of the day. Work out by running or lifting weights. Do some housework or sit on the computer excessively till you get tired XD
Did 31 hours in the end.
Slept for 14 hours the next day, wasted all the time i gained practically.
jerk off right before you go to bed and have a nice sleep ;)
I sleep so good i don't dream.
