I'm using Windows 7 32 bit. Here is my issue. I copy a url link from firefox. Close firefox. Open Chrome press Ctrl + V. Nothing! What happen? I have used this for years and this is the first time I ever encounter this.
Is firefox dumping all data when you close?
Like cookies, site preferences and the like?
I imagine that may be whats clearing your clipboard.
Does it work fine when firefox is still open and you copy paste?
Does it work by right clicking and clicking paste? If not PM me and I can figure this out.
Paste the text in question into a text document, copy that, and paste it into Chrome.
My Firefox settings is to not remember history. The right click method works, but it make me feel dump.
Try keep firefox up at the same time as pasting into chrome maybe?

This works, but why I couldn't close FF and paste to chrome? How the copy and paste work?
Did you tweaked your Firefox recently? That might be the issue.
When you close Firefox, it clears the clipboard, unfortunately.
Does it do this for all browsers? You should post more information related to the question.
