I have built my own machine. I am using the ASUS M-4A78TE motherboard. My computer is 2 years old. I have one wired keyboard and mouse attached to it. All drivers ect. are up to date. Randomly when I am using the computer ,gaming to internet to idle, the mouse and keyboard will shut off and all USB will not allow them to work. I have tried different keyboards and mice and same results. I have turned off the powersaving option on the HUB's as well. Please help. If any addtional information is needed please ask.

Hope this helped.
Could be windows it self or it could be the USB hubs.
How long has your OS been up?
Do all USB slots die?
Do you have other USB devices connected? (jump sticks or printers etc)
Does it give you the same problem on other PC's?

Please give us more information.
We are still willing to help you, but we need some more information.

Please get back to us.
Which computer are you running on right now?
Hi,

The problem that your facing looks like a motherboard usb-port failure,
looks like the ports on the harddrive have failed.
