Greetings Supportforums,
Windows takes 20% of your total bandwidth,So how to remove it and use the full network speed?.It's quite simple , Just follow the tutorial. This method works on all kind of windows versions, XP,VISTA and Seven .Doesn't matter even if it's a black edition .Windos seven users need to follow a smaller step,I've added it below
Step 1:-
Go to Run command and type in the following words "gpedit.msc" and click on ok.Windows seven users
Hold the Windows Button + R key and then type gpedit.msc it in.
Step 2:-
you should get something like this,
Step 3:-
Once you got this window,do this on the left side,
Administrative templates-->Network-->and click on Qos Packet sheduler.
Now you should have something like this
Step 4:-
On the right hand side,
Double click on "Limit Reservable Bandwidth" a window must appear.Tick the enable option and set the value to 0.That's it,you're done.
Disclaimer:- Please do note that this won't bring a major change in downloading speed , but you can find the difference to some extent and surfing speed increases a lot.
Frequently Asked Questions:-
1. "gpedit.msc" didn't bring up anything , what's the problem ?
Ans:- Read this post , http://www.supportforums.net/showthread....#pid259938.
