Yes but websites don't offer has high quality.
Edit: I prefer a program for it. I have seen websites that offer 480p but never 720p or 1080p.

The website i use allows you to download it in the resolution they posted it in, eg 720p or 1080p
Have any of you guys ever heard of real player
its the best.
Downloading youtube (and alot other) videos is not a bitter problem any more as far as IDM is there and Youtube Downloader addon for firefox
You don't need any program!! Search it on userscripts you can find lots of good stuff!!
Yes there are many sites that do it for you, this is just a video about how to do it one way.
There is also another way .
The YouTube videos you watch get saved on your Cache Folder .
After you finish watching a video in youtube
Open a New Tab and type about:cache
Find where the cache folder of firefox is and open the folder using Windows Explorer.
Sort the files based on Size and Open the largest file using VLC and the video should play
.
There are some Ad-dons For Firefox as well but I haven't used the though.
Pretty nice program.
I use: Savevid.com
Its a decent site, Also.
