In this tutorial I'm going to show you one simple step to improve the quality of a grainy picture as shown below.
Requirements:
Image
Photoshop
Time
Let's begin:
Start off by opening your picture in Photoshop.
As you can see the picture looks grainy and is really not that appealing.
Go to: Filter > Noise > Reduce Noise...
Once you have Reduce Noise open, you're going to want to move the Strength up to 10 and keep the other values fairly low.
You should instantly notice an increase in the quality of the image. If not continue to play around with the values until you find something that fits your needs.
Click OK and your result should be a much better looking image than when you started. Enjoy.

Amazing how simple you've done it.
I was always using multiple layers and adding blur, then bit of noise and few other things and my Pictures didn't end up looking so good.
That's real improvement of Quality, respect... and Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

No problem. I'm always glad to help.
This helped me with some of my pix, thanks a bunch bro
I'm actually quite impressed. I've never tried using Reduce Noise before as I didn't think the results would be that great, but they're pretty damn good. Thanks a lot for sharing, you should apply for my GFX Elites group.
Thanks, I did not know about this. Also, the picture itself is interesting. That smoke is pretty thick.
LOL, wow thanks, that's really easy and it actually looks a LOT better.
Wow few steps and still did a great difference.
Worked great
