Full Version: How to make a clean natural Animation shine/scan line in Photoshop

(I'm not going into advance I'm not making it pretty either)
1. Make the document.

2. Put a Background on the File (any color blacks the best)

3. Put your text

4. Get your brush or shape tool ( i like brush) and make a new layer

5. Size it a pretty small size, not too small

Pick a new color and hold shift at the beginning of the top left of you

text and then go to the bottom left.

6. Once done Click Window>Animation

7. Right click the brush line and click Create Clipping Mask
8. Click new layer on animation

9. Drag the line across.

9. Click the 4 .... (Tween)

10. 25 Layers

11. Click OK and pick a timing for your animations.
12. Save it as a .gif

Result:

Pretty good tutorial. It is, however, very basic and doesn't really cover everything. But I'm sure everyone got the gist of it. Maybe when you have the time, you could put in a little more detail. Thanks for the tut!
Is this the same when you want to make pictures "shine" too?
Good tutorial, however it's easier & better practice to use the timeline rather than frames.
Thanks for this I never competed a successful animation. I'll be sure to PM you with any questions. I actually have a premade one and I can send you the psd, when I find it. Then you can tell me what I screwed up on.
