You may or may not have heard, today is the day Yahoo flips the switch off for Geocities and it is taking with it a major part of internet history. Im sure many of you have had experiences with Geocities.

Who here used Geocities? What did you have on it? Will you miss it? How many animated GIF's did you use Tongue

This is a sad day for internet history. Apparently they are deleting all existing content not just stopping new signups.
I had a geocities website when i first started using the internet, So i will miss it altho the website was pretty fail that i made.
Yeah, but I bet you thought it was the best thing since sliced bread when you were making it ;)
Haha, I've enjoyed Geocitites for so long. Shame on Yahoo. May it be damned to internet hell and be hacked by many. And then some.

I have heard of it but haven't used it.

It's a shame I won't ever get the chance, I heard many great things about it.
