Can anybody help with this little problem??

I originally had Adobe Reader 9.2 that would open automatically when I
created a PDF from Word2007 using the Save as command.

But now it won't open automatically, instead I get the paint icon and not the PDF icon.

Any thoughts ?

You can try upgrading your current version of Adobe. You can also try installing another program that reads PDF files.
