You obviously saw it as an easy way to get money because it was right there in front of you. You should just say sorry to them, and repay them when you have the money.
Well pay them back at least. And tell the truth about everything. If you lie, you're doing to dig a deeper and deeper hole and its going to be harder and harder to get out.
