Full Version: How to stop wireless mouse lag?

Usually mouse lag can happen because of a few possible things.
1. Your mouse is too far away from the mouse receiver.
2. Your batteries in the mouse are going dead.
3. You have a memory issue in the computer which usually will cause the mouse to act up first.
4. The sensitivity on your mouse is set too low.
5. Try turning off pointer shadow by unclicking it in the mouse properties.

Just read this because my mouse was lagging as well. Tried the battery replace. Tried the usb unplug. Tried the move mouse closer to usb. None worked, so I took the corner of a small hand towel and twisted it just slightly into the lens hole on the bottom of the mouse and....Voila! Like brand new.
Damn, this thread has over 3,000 views!

But the reason I lag is because I usually need to replace the batteries in it.
