Today my boss asked me to put a fair price on a server we are selling. It's a dell 2850 he paid for, and purchased for around 7,500 dollars four years ago, so I told him 500 bucks according to ebay. His jaw dropped. He could not believe how much less it was worth. But I guess it's just moore's side effect.

Few days ago my boss also sold a server for $5000 which he bought 2 years ago at $6500.
Nice deal.Is'nt it.
revolutionary technology. Changes so fast these days it's hard to keep a worth on anything in the tech world.
When I bought my laptop it was $1200, about 2 weeks later it was $750. A month after that it was like $600. I'm sad
grizzly, most stores will refund you the differing amount if it's only been a few weeks.
This is why I never buy top tier technology.

Yeah, most stores. Not the Army and Air Force Exchange Service...
They rip us off horrible over here. Things are so expensive. We get out of paying tax, but, we pay $1.50 for a 20oz bottle of coke.
