So.. the story goes like that..
I restarted my computer for the first time after I installed Windows XP, and all icons are shown in groups , even if the 'Show in groups' option is not even checked, and the thing is that I can enable/disable this option on desktop.

Reply if you got any idea about this.
I struggled lots of hours to solve this, and I didn't found any solution for this issue.
Well I ain't used XP in like forever, but theres a program called Desktop Hijack fix. It can be used to fix most problems in which your normal background is not displayed.

Check it out here : http://download.cnet.com/Desktop-Hijack-...98768.html
Nope, the folders still appear in groups.
I think it's a bug or something, but indeed it's shitty.
A little BUMP
If anyone knows how to fix this, post your idea.Thank you.
Try using CCleaner to fix registry problems.

That is the only thing I can think of.
Nope, still not working, seems I have to install Windows XP once more.
Well, thanks for the help Smile
Look in Control Panel you might have installed a windows with some additional option aka one you have problem with!
Command prompt maybe. I havent used XP in ages though.
I think the best way to fix it is by not using a medieval operating system.
