What do you guys think of the default blue text? I think it contrasts nicely..but doesn't leave the greatest first impression.

Exactly. Also, what was the old default color? I never used the default.
It doesn't blend well with the banner, at all. It seems out of the theme and would look better orange.
I totally love the blue color. Now me I'm not a very flashy/over the top sort of the guy and this really stands out for me, now I really want to point out that it's a very nice forum based writing color due to the color not being to bright or to dim, just the perfect color, just "blends" in.

Agreed, I changed it to yellow. I don't like the other colors...
On the other hand I think the whole website needs a makeover.

I agree. In the banner I like the support feather but the font needs to change.
I think it is awesome! Try the yellow one, it is also awesome!

This. Then again it does all seem to fit well, somehow haha. Probably as there's never blue & green actually touching.
At first I thought no and when back to Orange, but I changed back last weekend at I really like it now.
