Yes. The dod wipe will delete all information including the partition but windows will create a new partition and you'll have your hard drive back. Which software are you planning to use?

To reinstall windows you need the windows cd. You can download this cd elsewhere or you can borrow it from someone. While I was searching I found two useful sources. A tutorial:

Why don't you just tap F11 on startup and do a system restore?
