hello
iam using portable programs in my university labs but some programs like intenet download manger isn't work
in the last three day i was looking for some portable programs used to get all internet speed on my pc like netcut or tweakmaster but always needs to be the admin
our labs manager disabled promote commands or any type of installing on c:\ drive
what is the most useful for this?
I don't understand, are you requesting a portable program like netcut and tweakmaster?
Even if you did find some ones that will run, I don't think they will work. Usually, on educational systems, the speed is lost through the firewall (or something), as well as sharing the internet with many other users at the same time.
A way to mess with the firewall (If your school has the correct setting disabled), is to unplug one of the Ethernet cables from the computer, and plug it into the wall. Meaning that both ends are plugged into the wall. If the protection isn't enabled, the system will crash. You can talk your way out of this by saying "I thought it was meant to be like that, I thought I was helping!"

But seeing as you haven't tried that...

Heh, most devices are protected against that now.

BUT, most organisations choose to switch off the protection because so much speed is lost with it on!
