Agreed. I think some of the above posters have difficulty separating cute from sexy or hott.

You can't assume anything, the definitions of those words are different for everyone. Some people think blondes are hot, some think they are ugly and would prefer brunettes instead.

Definition:
def·i·ni·tion
the act of defining or making definite, distinct, or clear.

According to the american dictionary the words hot and sexy mean lustful while cute means: attractive, especially in a dainty way; pleasingly pretty: a cute child; a cute little apartment. It has nothing to do with sexual arousement.

So yeah you can go around and make your own definitions for words but unfortunately that is not how the world works, sucks though that we can't all be Webster. Additionally I can assume as I please, this is a free country and I have the right of speech just like you, also I never stated that everyone thought a certain way in fact I said quote "some of the above posters have difficulty separating cute from sexy or hott."

I mean if I said I fudged your mom last night than said my definition of fudged is completely different from yours would that change the reality that fudge means sex? Nope.

Next time you strike, tiger, make sure you don't falter. Victoire

Who said anyone was sexual aroused by any of the women posted? As i've said, no one mentioned anything about that, and different people are attracted to different things (both sexually and non-sexually).

I guess my comment above this quote in my post disproves that problem. The term is specific to every individual. Definition stays the same, but meaningful in different ways to everyone, as i've been trying to explain to you.

True, but I also have the right of speech to prove any of your assumptions wrong if I feel that your misleading yourself.

As i've said and i'll say this again....

You should consider reviewing the english language a bit more before making derogatory posts towards me. I'm only trying to show you one thing. Sexy may mean lustful, but who says everyone has lust for the same person. In this case, not everyone would have lust towards the women in the pictures posted in this thread. So that could also give them a reason to call them cute instead.

I don't think I could make my reasoning any clearer than in this post, so hopefully you'll understand by now.

Ok so you're saying that if you went up to a female teacher and told her ,her hair was hott or sexy it wouldn't warrant different consequences as you telling her it was cute.

"Who said anyone was sexual aroused by any of the women posted? As i've said, no one mentioned anything about that, and different people are attracted to different things (both sexually and non-sexually)."

The English language is an amazing thing, for instance if I call you a menace I don't have to also say you're being annoying because that word is apart of the definition of menace. So, when you say something is hot or sexy you don't have to say you were sexually aroused because it's implied by the used word's definition. Different things can indeed mean different things to different people but when you're on neutral ground the general definitions is given automatically for words. To a friend or at home you can say bitch as an affectionate term, but you can't go out and start calling people bitch because quite frankly in a general sense that word has it's own denotation from what you may have implied.

Rebut?

I consider hot my 1 night stand and then cute is the girl I like to be around and would end up dating. The one I don't want to just get into their pants, lol.

That doesn't count, babies don't have an established personality, or at least they're not aware of it. Tongue
