An amazing and well written guide. Is clearly better than mine, without a doubt. Although, the updating wasn't really necessary because I've seen in some cases it makes the computer's performance go even lower.

You don't need one in my opinion. If you run Windows 7 or Vista, there's already a built in system defrag that will defrag your drives for you. It was created for your system, so why not use that instead?
