When I read the title, I thought it said "Emoticon Support".
Anyways, threads in that section would probably get flamed if it wasn't monitored well enough.
Why would they be flamed? I mean they would be posting all of that in a section for emotional support. If someone was to flame those posts, then they were just looking for something to flame. Having its own section keeps it out of other sections.

I suppose it's a good thing we have moderators then

No but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once though.
Actually, I have investigated several attempted suicides. The army see's it as a crime. "Self Injury without Intent to Avoid Military Service." Although, most people don't actually get in trouble for it. We're pretty good with being sensitive during the interview and the commander's are pretty good about getting them some help.

I'm a licensed/registered nurse though, we're only trained in minor psychotherapy and counseling though. Can you wait 5-6 years when I get my MD?

Yup, and of course he was one of the early posters.
Now please stop posting here and start posting there pl0x.
I vote yes. Even though a lot of memebers would flame, some people need to talk about it.
