Steam support sucks, end of story.

They are like robots.

I got account stolen, I contacted them. Told them my story.
Gave them all the info I know, original email, pass, secret question.
Paypal ID also that most of the activity comes from my IP.

Then they asked for my address on paypal and some invoice ID or something.
So I told them I don't know since, I bought the account long time ago and my paypal got limited, so I don't remember.

Then they just repeat their question, are they freakin robots?
Are you... Steaming of anger?

Do you use Gmail or something where you can search through every steam email you've had with them?

Keeping records is important.

I found my invoice ID and everything from another email, YOSH Big Grin
Got my account back by social engineering that dude.
Well, I am more efficient than steam support.

We can sometimes be.
Glad to hear you got your account back. And Steam Guard just went public too. Steam customer support is a little fidgety when it comes to account issues like that, but I'm okay with it because it means people won't be fooling the staff into giving my account like that Windows Live exploit that used to exist.
They follow strict policies and use canned speeches. Glad you got your account back, though.
Mind sharing the method you got your account back?
