Nintendo's 3DS has taken the top spot in the Japanese hardware chart in its second week on the market, reports VG247.
According to figures from Media Create, the new handheld shifted 209,623 units between February 28 and March 6, making it the week's bestseller.
The PSP claimed the second spot with combined SKU sales of 77,326. Sony's PS3 was the top selling home console in the Asian territory, moving 25,918 units.
In the Japanese software chart, recent PSP release Dissidia: 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy took the top spot with 286,117. Six 3DS titles appeared in the top 20, selling 182,034 units between them.
The 3DS arrives in the UK on March 25 and in North America two days later.
