No suprises that I'm going to say MyBB but for a forum I believe it is honestly the best. If you want more of a social networking kind of thing built around a forum then look at VB/IPB. Just don't look at PHPBB
SMF is ok but I find it ugly. Drupal also has an inbuilt forum module if you need a CMS and Forum solution.
I am now working on the css file so is matches my joomla theme.

vbulletin really is good but you have to pay for it but i think SMF is pretty good

Okay i think I got them matched up. How do they look?

I think getting them to be the same width would be nice? Just for symmetry.
