I personally use ESET Nod 32 v4 its pretty decent if you ask me. Mcafee and Norton actually all the products I have ever used by symantic are bad.
i also use nod32 because it does not hog my memory unlike norton and mcafee, they are crap
I Use Avira Anti-Virus.
Then I have MalwareBytes.
I don't have the active guard on, do to some stuff I have on my computer.
These two work really good though.

You know you can still have the auto detect feature on, with most AV's because you can disable auto-protect from certain folders and items. If it won't let you access the internet, change some of the rules in the firewall configuration
I use Kaspersky internet security 2011 and Malwarebytes.
I use AVG 2011, free edition.
Why do you use all of this?it's aint good mate..
Anyway I use Avast
