I use ESET Smart Security. It hasn't failed me yet and doesn't take up too much of my computer's resources. Avira would be my 2nd choice though.

Yeah, that's true. But an AV isn't slowing down so much if you got a good/decent computer tho. But I like few programs running, that's why I don't use AVs

Not as much as a virus if it gets onto your system because you don't have realtime protection
I use Sophos AntiVirus (corporate edition) and it's pretty lean and doesn't use any more then 25MB RAM when I used others that used up to 500MB RAM (not naming those tho).
Pretty good stuff.
I use McAfee, Been using it for many years now and has never let me down!
Wow! Thats a lot of anitiviruses. That is bound to fck your computers processor.
I use Viper and Malwarebytes Pro. Those are the best IMO.
i use Avira. I've been debating weather to get Kasparsky or not..
