I'm guessing the recent influx (past hour or so) of members logging in and guests visiting is because HF is down?

Yes, it is because HF is down, but I peruse this site anyways, even when HF is up.

am techie on HF,but havent been on there since getting back home this evening so never even knew it was down.
have not been on for a while due to it not being overly busy here,and only having the energy for one site-plus have been setting up an autism project which is taking up far to much time.
love writing guides for SF.

Yep i am here because HF is down,but i sometimes come here when HF is up as well.
Depends if im in the mood for a trolling but intelligent community or a much emptier,less trolly equally intelligent community.

Even Omni tells us to hang out here on SF when HF is down.

Why would that be a bad thing. I don't come here often, and there's a greater chance I come here when hf is down, which is quite frequently.

I'm mostly on hf for the coding sections, helping people out etc. I figure I could do the same thing here, if the coding forums were at least a bit more populated. So, hf down results into a bigger population, results into me coming here more often too, which obviously results back to a bigger population.

One should not complain!

I complain because most who come across think it's funny to troll and post "omfg yeah man!11!!!111!!!11!!!11!!!1!!111" in threads.
