On topic: I like it but it doesn't look that appealing.
Maybe it's the colours, you could try glossy text.

Not sure whether I should take that as a compliment or not?

I know but light blue, pink and green just doesn't work for me.
It just looks like a sketch in a book really, doesn't look like you actually coloured it in photoshop.
Maybe you meant to do that with a texture or something.

Thats because it's not been vectored. The outline & shadow are done in pen.
But I like the effect of it looking like its in a sketch book.

I also think the colours work really nicely together. So ner ner ner ner ner

It looks a little, hmm what's the word, garish? To me. I also have always disliked light blue, not sure why.

So by you saying "My eyes will never be the same again" was basically an insult.
